A Nebraska football recruit who was charged in Oregon with a sex crime and burglary has been allowed to rejoin the team under strict rules of conduct and other requirements, Coach Bill Callahan said.
Callahan said he reinstated the scholarship of safety Major Culbert after the charges against him were reduced, and following a meeting with Culbert and his family.
The charges filed against Culbert in May were reduced to misdemeanors, Callahan said, and stringent requirements have been established for his behavior, including community service and therapy
