You should move to North Dakota to avoid them, maybe. :D

A 73-year-old Georgia man was killed by Africanized “killer” honeybees, the Georgia Department of Agriculture said.

The attack, which happened last month, occurred after Curtis Davis hit a beehive while clearing brush with his tractor. He was stung more than 100 times.

It is the first time state officials have recorded that such bees are in Georgia, Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin said in a news release.

KooKooKatchoo needn't worry. Most bees, flies, and the like are attracted to things that are sweet. They sure aren't attracted to VINEGAR. But if KooKooKatchoo attacked them, then they have a right to defend themselves, no matter how disgusting it is for them.

Why are the hybridised bees considered more aggresive than pure African bees?
during the aloe flowering season, I had a bekeeper put over 1000 hives out on the veld, and never had a problen with bee attacks.

A fellow was killed by those bees here in Okeechobee County, Florida last year. He was demolishing a trailer and the bees were in the wall. He was put in the back of a truck and the truck was going a very high speed and the bees were following just like in a cartoon - but it wasn't a cartoon. He was stung hundreds of times and there were bees in his jeans when they pulled them off.
