the attack on religious freedom will be tick against obamacare when it comes to SCOTUS
they have overstepped.....too much, too soon.

Two top advisers to President Barack Obama — both Catholics — warned him of the potential for controversy over his decision to require religious organizations to cover contraceptives in their health insurance plans.
Vice President Joe Biden and former White House chief of staff Bill Daley both told the president that the decision would be cast as a government intrusion on religious freedom and thatit could alienate Catholic voters in swing states, Bloomberg reported Wednesday. The decision has whipped up a frenzy of criticism for the president that he's been battling since the move went public.

I like the would be "cast". And then I like how they appose it not on grounds they don't agree, but on grounds that it could harm votes.
What would our political environment look like if all these monkeys weren't concerned about the next election and focused on policy because it is what they believed in?

Washington (CNN) -- President Barack Obama announced a compromise Friday in the dispute over whether to require full contraception insurance coverage for female employees at religiously affiliated institutions.
Under the new plan, religiously affiliated universities and hospitals will not be forced to offer contraception coverage to their employees. Insurers will be required, however, to offer complete coverage free of charge to any women who work at such institutions.

Who ever heard of Insurance companies doing anything free?
They will just charge higher rates to such organizations. This puts us right back where we were. These organizations will still be paying for the coverage. It just puts the blame on the insurance companies.

Obama might have backtracked now because he saw the Catholic vote slipping away but when he doesn't have to worry about getting their vote this backtrack will be as good as his promise to the greenies about stopping the XL Pipeline. If he had no intention of OKing the Pipeline why did he tell them to re submit the plan after the election?
As soon as the election is over the Union Supported pipeline will go through and so will Obama's mandate on ALL organizations providing for birth control. He will sign an executive order to force this mandate during the lame duck session even if he is booted out of office. It will be his final finger to the American voters. Nobody can trust this lieing piece of crap as he will say anything to appease his base and keep them voting for him.
Why is when a Liberal is defending Obama's progressive agenda that mandates things that are totally UN-CONSTITUTIONAL do they always come up with the excuse If you are going to take government funding you have to play by the rules IE if the Catholic Church takes federal money to help run their hospitals and provide care to the public then they have to provide for Birth Control?
I might ask if a student applies to a Catholic school or a person applies for a job at a Catholic organization should they not have to play by the rules and except the fact the Church is not going to provide them with birth control? Where is PERSONAL RESPONSIBLITY when it comes to a friggin Liberal? Nobody put a gun to the heads of those people they applied knowing full well that the Catholic Church believes that Birth Control is morally wrong so let them take personal responsibility for their decision and their sex life. :roll:

by making the godless insurance companies "offer it for free"... he has circumvented the freedom of religion issue.. by going directly to the source of the offered product..
however starting in 2013, to promote better health, ranchers will have to offer free beef to all ...
