So is Joe Horn, the guy in Texas that shot dead the two men that were burglarizing his neighbor a Hero or a villain?

I think he was probably stupid for taking the chance he did and risking going prison. Or at minimum saying what he said to the 911 operator that could lead to incriminating himself.

But I do not want to see the man go to prison. We should be able to shoot someone who is stealing from us or our neighbor.

Ps. I know OT, we need secure borders and it was GW's fault.

Dis ya see that the two criminals were also illegal aliens.

On the 911 tape most news left out where Horn said that he feared for his safety. One of the guys was shot on Mr. Horns property. Just a few more tidbits that most news orgs left out.

I have not heard the whole tape, but I did hear someone say the tape was a lot longer that what was being played on the networks. They said at the first of the tape he seemed concerned about his own safety compared to the part everyone is playing were it makes him sound like a cold hearted killer.

I wish I had a neighbor like him!

Heard one of the illegals had already been deported once and got back into the states.

I would hate to know that life as we know it would come to that.....BUT....having been a victim of a thieving SOB...I can't say I fault Mr. Horn one bit!!!

In GA you have the right to shoot to kill if you feel ' threatened' ....now when you are told this by a officer he looks at you with a half-wink and indicates that you can set your own level of ' threat'!!

Honestly, as bad as stealing has gotten, all over the nation, urban and rural, there will have to be a line drawn somewhere by someone somehow!

We had an old lady, she lived alone, attacked here by some hoodlums acting as roofers, they tied her up, beat the crap outta her and stole a grand total of $200.

They've caught 3 of the 4...but these guys were just driving around on the rural roads and cking out the houses....then coming in when they saw an opportunity! They were here all the way from Ohio!

She had a shotgun and when asked why she didn't use it, she said she didn't want to go to jail for shootin' someone. Which 9 out of 10 times seems to be the outcome of the case.
