Judges that need to retire?

I had a hunch, so I did a little quick research. Remember the Kelo v New London ruling a few years ago where the Supreme Court decided that private property can be confiscated so a supermarket can be put in - the one that caused many states to quickly enact stronger laws so exactly that could not happen? Look who voted for that;

"On June 23, 2005, the Supreme Court, in a 5–4 decision, ruled in favor of the City of New London. Justice John Paul Stevens wrote the majority opinion; he was joined by Justices Anthony Kennedy, David Souter, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer."

Compare that list to the justices who voted to give the rag-heads in Gitmo rights that the Constitution does not give them; Kennedy, Souter, Ginsberg, Breyer, Stevens.

NY Times:

John Paul Stevens's remarkable staying power has been good for liberals. At a time of conservative ascendancy on the court, he anchors a four-justice center-left bloc that would probably shrink to three if President Bush could appoint his successor. After the confirmation of Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. to replace Sandra Day O'Connor, the liberal radio network Air America began playing "Hang On Stevens," a parody of the 1960s hit "Hang On Sloopy." The song implores: "Just wait until Bush leaves before you resign."

King Georges chances to appoint any more Judges or Justices slips by daily- and lately from the hearings I've watched its been the Repubs stalling the hearings on Bush's nominees  From what todays polls show- the Repubs may not get to appoint another for sometime...

The current polls from the votemaster:

Jun. 14

Electoral Votes
Obama 304 McCain 221 Ties 13

Senate Positions
Senate: Dem 58 GOP 42
(some sites are saying that if GW doesn't do something about the economy and gas prices quickly- as fast as the Repubs are slipping in the polls the Dems could easily end up with 60 in the Senate)

House Positions
House: Dem 238 GOP 197

Rasmussen Polling

If the Congressional Election were held today, 47% of voters say they would vote for their district’s Democratic candidate, while 34% would vote for the Republican candidate. For the Republicans, that represents a five-percentage point drop from a month ago.

Rasmussen Daily Tracking

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows Barack Obama attracting 47% of the vote while John McCain earns 40%.

wait till the debates start after the conventions. McCain's support, tenuous at best, is going to drop like a rock.

Nope, it's going to be the other way around. Everybody already knows McCain, but now they'll learn more on BarryO and his "qualifications" for being President. They'll know more about who he associates with. They'll get to know his ungrateful vindictive wife. They'll get more quotes from his book that reveal who he really is. They'll get evidence that he knows nothing about taxes or economics. They'll learn how foolish and dangerous his foreign policies will be. The guy will be exposed.
