Pelicans on a pond

Making their getaway
A couple of bucks

Still in the velvet

On the skyline

My dad on a heifer watching tour

As we watch the heifers, they watch us.

Heifers on a hilltop

One critter doesn't seem to have a head.

They are at the height of their glory.
Hiding

Diagonal of dollies

Enjoying a nice afternoon

Another cluster of critters

Hunkered together to stay warm or fight flies

Moving en masse

Remotely looks like a cat

Your headless heifer is in good shape, as long as the production end is working you may have a goldmine there Soap. :D

You Dad looks good also, wish I was closer. I've learned a lot from his generation.

Pelicans? In Nebraska?

Herons? yep. Geese? yep. The iconic Sandhill Cranes? yep. But, pelicans? I had no idea! It's true, you learn something new every day. Thanks for the pics and the education.

Your pop looks great, still got a sparkle in his eye.

And we have them in SE Montana. Sometimes we have LOTS of them.

Yep- Saturday evening I performed a wedding for a couple at Vandalia Dam on the Milk- and one of the highlights of all those attending was watching the Pelicans below the spillway catching fish....
