Broken legged bull found dead in the pasture. Just last week I had turned 28 cows and a two-year-old bull
into a pasture where six yearling bulls were in with a bunch of cows. They must have ganged up on the older bull
and caused his eventual demise.

Nice pictures. You must like the new mule with all the pictures you've posted! :D

She's a bit of a handful and sure needs lots of miles.

The difference between a good horse/mule and an average one is as simple as wet saddle blankets. Love the pictures. I been needing some new spur straps. Those folks look like they make nice stuff. My Grandpa had some leather cuffs like they have on their display table and I've wanted a set of them too just for old times sakes.

Thanks for the interesting variety of pics Soapweed.

Sorry about the bull, like you said though the buzzards were not real upset.

Those stars must have been quite a sight, the rider was lucky she didn't get her lights knocked out :)

Normally I don't believe in using a tie-down, but that horse might need one.

First off....great pictures. Loved the paint horse mane hairdo. Lil Lilly has done that a time or to to her old mare's mane. But it's not somethin ya do when barrel racin..so she hasn't done it in ages. Fingers get caught up in it too much.

High headed horse. Firstly I notice that she's got the reins gathered up really short. That's probably a big part of the reason why that horses head is in the air. Now...if that horse was tossin his head like that for no reason....then I'd say a tie down might be in order. Every reaction a horse has is usually directly related to what the riders hands are doin.

Sorry bout the bull soapweed. That's a tuff one. But things happen that are beyond our controll sometimes.

That big ole mule makes you look kinda like a lil feller
