Looks like planted trees grow pretty good in the sand. Our best shelter belt trees on the flats are that Siberia import the Caragana. Those Soapweed flowers look like little cabbages, Yucca suits that perception. :wink:

It appears that I have no idea how to spell that Siberian tree according to spell check.

Per, around here I'm still cussing in my mother's general direction for planting those dang caragana hedges 30 some years ago. turns out they're quite a weed :?

I thought it was interesting in the going down the road pic, the horses feet are in the exact same position.
