Thanks Soapweed. Looks like you could use a rain also. Is your irrigation water holding up? Your cattle look fat and content.
It is plenty dry here for this time of year with the last few days being in the 90s F. The Forest Service is pretty excited about the chance of fires.

We could sure use a rain, as the last we got was about a month ago. We don't do any irrigating but the meadows are naturally sub-irrigated. A little shower came through this evening but it didn't amount to much. The weather report gives us a fair shot at moisture during the next several days. Sure hope it comes about.

No ditches? No dams? That does sound like heaven!!! I've got a steady job from mid-May to end of June moving water.

You got that right. :)

We did get a nice rain last night of seven tenths of an inch, so things are lookin' up. :) This is the first we've had since a half inch in early May. Throughout the month of April, there was about three inches, so we were off to a good start, but it's been very dry lately.

Wow, Soapweed, nice rain! I'm happy for you. We have about half an
inch and along with it, two feet of wind.

But we'll take the rain any day. I hope everyone is getting some
moisture. This turned pretty slushy earlier, but didn't quite make
SNOW!!
