June colts

Here's my two colts I got this summer. The bay is out of a King Fritz/Peppy San stud and the Cheasnut is out of a Zan Par Bar stud. We cut both studs last year and sold them. Maybe we were a little hasty!

Both of the mares are pretty well bred. I like the cheasnuts mom the best. Chance started her when she was two and she was so nice we named her Peaches. We ended up buying her from the owner. The bay colts mom came from the same people. they were getting droughted out and we bought this mare cheap. Never have gotten Chance to start her for me. he's funny that way! He'll staret horses for other people, but he ain't got enough time for the old man's!

Nice colts, Jinglebob!!

I too, like the chestnut the best of the two. I bet
he's the Zan Parr Bar one. We have a Zan Parr Bar that
is sure good-looking. I think they tend to be handsome horses.

I think you should hide that bay up in northern sask. lol. I thought I was the only guy foaled mares late lol.

I ain't raising them to sell, so there ain't no need to get them born and their ears froze off!

I kind'a like the bay myself. The chesnut ain't showin' a lot of withers yet. He's the spittin' image of his daddy. I've got the guy who bought his dad, interested in the son. But he ain't gonn'a be too cheap, until I see what he grows into.

If you've got a well bred dun or buckskin, NR, maybe you ought to load him up this fall and come down to visit and we might just do some swappin'. :D

I've got a couple of yearlin' fillies out of these two mares. One is a full sister to the bay colt and the other is my favorite that I posted a picture of last year. Same mother and a different stud than the chesnut. That's part of the reason I want to keep this chesnut, cuz if he turns out half as nice as his half sister, woohoo!

Well I'm a ladies man horsewise putr a pic up of those fillies lol.

I'll see what I can do. The bay filly looked just like the colt when she was a baby. She will get to be about 15 hands or a little bigger and probably weigh around 1200. I'll try and remember my camera, when I get them in afterwhile, or they come in for a drink so I can capture them.

I've got a liberal that we have been getting changed over to the conservative side over n political bull, going to be showing up after bit. She called fromCasper and said they were on their way, anyhow. I might have to sneak a picture of her, for all to drool over, as she has assured me that she brought along her string bikini!

Jinglebob you and my good buddy John Q. Ismay could hook up and come north-you can take Brad Severson for a guide he's been up here fishing with his family. Nice surprise when Brad,Darla Cody and Cole rolled up unannounced.

Jinglebob, I trade buckskin fillies for saddles  When the fire season is over you should make a trip north. You know lots of places to stay now.

Only problem with both of those, is I DON'T trade fillies for saddles, buckskin or otherwise! And I ain't got any money or a passport, to get across the line! I'm such a radical, I'd set Canada back 200 years, if they let me across the Medicine Line. And they know it. Besides, I don't think that country is big enough for both me and Tyson. Either one of them!

And NR, if I was to let Brad guide me, I don't think I'd make it back. He was a little too "eastriver", for me, so he never liked me much. He didn't think usin' a horse in the salebarn, was really helping. He just thought you was supposed to do it all afoot. I thought other wise.

Geez I remember him using that old spayed mare of his in the back pens quite a bit when I was there. There was a young guy there named Dana was a pretty good scout-how is he doing.

Dana married a young lady who worked in yard back. They live south of me, almost to the river. She does taxes and he dayworks. Got a nice little place and some kids. I don't get to see them very often, but your right, Dana's a good scout! :)

That's funny, NR. It would be even worse to obtain the socialist disease from a conservatively endowed liberal. The result could also be communistically communicable.
