I enjoyed your pictures, Jassy and marveled at the variety of
your subject matter!

Your country sure looks good.

Your turtles are different colored than ours.

And last, but not least, by his head, that looks like the
makin's of a nice horse. How's he bred?

Where is the tadpole at? looks like a tank with clear sides.

Is it the angle or does the horse have a lump on the side of its neck....

Great shots

Thanks...I have no idea what bloodline this horse is..we haven't even gotten him home yet...but he was a stud till a late 3yr old..it's probably the angle of the camera, cause he has no lumps...he's a secret project between my hubby and son..I didn't find out till sunday that he will be joining our herd of 8 lawn ornaments..lol

The turtles, tadpoles, and goldfish are in various tanks..and no they're not glass tanks..just plain ole cattle tanks..lol

What I wanna know is.....did you reach in and save the turtle??? He has a kind eye too

Love the looks of that horses head. Just looks like a big jaw to me. Amazin how much some horses look alike. That could almost be a picture of Lil Lilly's "Tank" horse.

That windmill fan looks perdy much mangled.....hope repairs aren't too fun.

We did have alot of trees twisted and pulled out by the roots..around our house and mailbox...powerlines and poles broke from tornado, some damage to a building next to our shop, but other than that the houses all stayed in tact..even the ones that we wished would blow away..lol

Yes Lilly, I did save all 6 turtles that were in that tank...I meant to write that with the photo but forgot. In fact that is part of my summer job..lol When checking water..I've scooped out lots of live and a few dead critters out of a tank...except for the frogs..I leave them since there are so many and they like it there..lol

We brought the colt "Haze" home tonite and he's a pretty good lookin horse, so we'll see how he turns out after he spends the semister down at K-state..getting "his" education along with my kid..lol

Nice pictures, Jassy. Sorry about the tornado. Those things are wicked. Our neighboring ranch had a bad tornado on July 9, 1977, that took out 13 of the 14 buildings on the ranch. All the main buildings were ruined, but an outlying shed with an old racing stock car survived. I well remember that day. At one time we could see three tornadoes, and northeast of us a few miles, there were seven tornadoes all in sight at the same time. Quite a few cattle were killed that afternoon. The naturally occuring vaccuums which formed sucked eyeballs and entrails right out of the cattle.

I like your turtle pictures. There sure do often need rescued from the water tanks. Thanks for posting.

Oh my gosh, Soap, I had no idea the vaccuum in a tornado could do
that to cattle.

We had a tornado in W. Montana in June of 1982.
Took down 500 cottonwood trees. Damaged every building
but the one Mr. FH was in. He heard this horrible noise--like
a freight train coming through the yard. He was in the shop
and he got up to look out. He had a farmhand sitting on top
of an old log building. That farmhand went right straight in
the air with the roof right behind it.

He got under the tractor in the shop, and the dogs
got under there with him and got as close to him
as they could. It didn't last long, but man, did it do a lot
of damage.

Awesome pictures! Thanks!

How do those tornados not scare you guys into living somewhere else? Maybe I've seen too many movies, but they scare me to death!

Ya know...I'd rather have the winds than water in a hurricane...Seems like our storms don't last that long, but hurricanes can last a loooonnnnggg time....
