Better keep an eye on those fall calving cows. Mine were also due the first of Sept. Hauled them home from rented pasture Mon. and had a good size baby Tues. Seems to me that they always calve early in the fall. Had just over an inch of rain last nite here in NE MO and it is a real sauna this afternoon. Oh well, much better than yesterday when dust was blowing everywhere.

Don't worry...it's my official/unofficial job to keep an eye on em this time of year...if by chance we get a few early ones..I'll tag em with a photo! lol They're not to far from where they'll calve, so we should be in good shape...

those guys are pretty darn good hands at lots of things....They both have been here awhile, which is good.

My favorite is the poor starving critter..... She is so broad across her back.
I see the sunflowers............. You know it's an old wivestale that the snow will be as tall as the sunflowers in the sandhills..... :D :D

Wow that is uncanny how the fawn and doe look alike! Maybe they're cuzzins???? :wink:

Great bunch of photos, Jassy. Your country looks good, and it is easy to see that your livestock gets cared for well. That is a pretty view looking across the meadow from your buildings.
