Great pictures. You were sure in the right place at the right time to capture the moments. I especially like the "Horses Gone Wild" after the rain photo.

Thanks Soapweed. Just sorry that I missed them when they were rearing and bucking against that sky. Now that would have been a great picture.

The local golf course killed a rattlesnake and we are not in rattlesnake country. I'm not sure if I'm gonna be a golfer this year or not now. :cry: When they killed it they buried it's head. The other day we were all talking about it and wondering if people do that for a reason or if it's just an old wives tale? I was told you do it so that the head doesn't get someone with nerves left or simply if someone stumbled into it. Anybody???

CattleArmy we have always cut the heads off and buried them.
I have also heard of the snake biting someone after it head has been cut off, but have never had the guts to find out if it is true or not.
Husband got another rattler a couple of days after that one. He said the snake bit itself when he was about to hit it with a pipe he had. The snake was trying to bite the pipe.
