K-State Fun

Last Friday was KSU's purebred Bull sale. They had a great turnout for a crowd. Can't tell ya what the average's were, I was more interested in my kid who was working there. He and 2 other kids had trained these colts all schoolyear from the horse unit, and then they were sold at the end of the bull sale. They sold for $1750..which was really good! The kids put in alot of time on these colts and here's the proof that country college kids know how to have fun...

Looks like those boys had exposed the colts to just about everything.
I'll be they made whoever bought them some mighty fine horses.

Good job!!!

Nice looking horses. The young men did a good job with the training. Wish I'd been there, I might have come home with a new horse.

Heck, you'd have probably come home with another calving crew! Looks like they know how to have fun and would have fit right in on The Spearhead :)

Oh ya...Beer at Rusty's....I've already got to many purple t-shirts from K-state...I'd be happy to share with Sandhusker...hopefully he'd look better in purple than I do! lol

Thanks for the other good comments...It's a good thing my kid has the horse unit to work at, otherwise college wouldn't be as fun for him. He's not into the normal college scene at all,,so at least this place gives him something to do he enjoys...and make a little cash too...
