My Kid did it! Graduated from College...for now...now on to get his Masters!

He recieved his Honor Chord at a ceramony Friday nite..He was in the top 10% of his class!

A couple months ago I contaced Soapweeds daughter and asked her to make me a caketopper of a guy preg checking a cow...She came up with this which was the main conversation piece at the party! It was so cute and looks like my kid! lol He loved it!

She took on the challenge very well...such great detail!

Notice the little plastic sleeve on the arm..and the green "stuff"..lol to cute

Congratulations on your fine son's accomplishment, Jassy. He did you and Tom up proud. :)

Sunflower will be pleased to know that her cowboy-cow connection cake concoction stayed the course. Thanks for the pictures.

The cake definately put the "frosting" on the ceremony. :wink:

makes my heart swell to know that Nebraska added another fine KSU grad to it's ranks..... I enjoyed meeting him on the Hereford Tour. you have a fine young man there Jassy.

seems like the job of being a parent never ends.but u have been awarded and i wish your son the best of luck in the future.

Thanks everyone for the good wishes...I do appreciate em all...and Jigs...We were either really brave or really stupid..but hubby and I wore our Nebraska coats into the Wildcat store..the storeclerk asked us if we were looking for something red..or where we lost..lol And yes..I did break down and buy Purple Stuff! lol

well....I hate to call you stupid, so I will go with brave...... glad to see you sporting the Purple Pride. old Sandhusker has a few purple shirts, but he is affraid to show his true colors!

And as for the cake topper....I love it now...and I loved it a couple months ago when you showed it to me and swore me to secrecy!!!!! :wink: So glad he liked it.
