WASHINGTON — Kathleen Sebelius, the health and human services secretary, is resigning, ending a stormy five-year tenure marred by the disastrous rollout of President Obama’s signature legislative achievement, the Affordable Care Act.

Mr. Obama accepted Ms. Sebelius’s resignation this week, and on Friday morning he will nominate Sylvia Mathews Burwell, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, to replace her, officials said.

She actually resigned three months ago, she sent it via the health.gov website. It just reached the White House today.

I don't believe that one bit. You know that she called a reporter to give her resignation. Obama found out about it on the news.

do you think anyone will whine about her being associated with walmart, its owners or their "foundation"?

Sylvia Mary Mathews Burwell (born June 1965) is the Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget. She has been in that position since April 2013. Prior to that, she was president of the Walmart Foundation

or are they just evil when they make money?

First it is about friggin time she resign and went back under the rock Obama found her under.

Second really he promotes a person that has been managing a non- existed White House Budget. By the amount of money this White House has blown through in 5 years do you really want the person in charge of budgeting that spending spree in charge of the largest most expensive boondoogle in US History?
