How has your haying been going? Are you done laying it on the ground yet? Did you get any rain yet? It's hot here, 91 degrees and the wind is blowing, not very many gophers out because of the heat. All the wildlife is "shading up" in the trees so we can't see them either. Sure enjoyed your visit, we would love to come see you if we can get away...maybe when Marine son comes home this summer for a few days, maybe we can get away...we should have our beef done by then and give YOU a package of OUR T-bones :D :D 8)

Hanta, You've got a deal.... Yes we are haying I got home about 9:30 tuesday night and Carter and I swathed all day weds and thursday.( I think I have my days right.) And then hubby and I went out at 11;00 pm to bale and no dew.. Baled some till 1:00 am, slept till 4:00a.m. and baled till 11:00 or so.. Picked dean up halfway from grandmas and will prolly bale again tonight and in the early mornings.
The alfalfa is bloomed in some areas, with some yellow wilted spots or areas...We are putting two windrows together and it is going through the baler pretty good. We have about 125 acres down so maybe tonight we can all but finish it up..... Whew I hope so as I am missing my bed..
