Don't want to steal Hanta Yo's and Montanacowgurl's thunder, but
we got to meet Katrina too!!

She stopped by on her way home and we had lunch today.
Super lady and so easy to talk to, it was like we had known her
forever!!

She even let Mr. FH drive her big rig. It's impressive, to say the least.

Thanks Katrina, we were really glad you stopped!!

MCG---I have personally met a few "demented" kids in my life....YOU are NOT one of them!!!  You are a daughter any parent would be proud to call their own!!
Glad you and the folks had such a good visit from Katrina!!
Got me wondering, though.....has anyone given any thought to our next "get together" such as last years Deadwood gathering? Ya know...I have some vacation time I would gladly use to meet as many of you as I can!! Give it a thought!!!

The get together this year will be at my place in east Alabama. 4th or July with BBQ. Bring your shorts. Beer and bug spray will be provided.

Anytime you can get it together I would try to make it. Besides being chauffer to Katrina, I had to take a couple more pictures when I could get the camera away from MCG,

everywhere we went, we had eyes on us. Sorry, didn't find any babies yet

No tour is complete without stopping at the Indian paintings

The paintings are located where the Ross' homestead was. Bob Ross, Jim Ross, both cowboy poets, grew up here. Both are in their late eightys, Bob was just here the day before Katrina to show one of his friends the old homestead and look around. WLR is their fathers initials, he proably put them in this rock around 1908

Yes FH, those Muddled Meanderings are his books. His brother Jim also has some poetry books, my mom has one but I don't. I love for those guys to come out here and tell me about things they remember, which is alot, they are still very sharp for their ages. I told Hanta she needs to go to Bozeman and visit Bob and record a bunch of the history, although it is better to me if we are standing in front of the old "Jones" place when he is telling me about them.
