We have been practicing holistic management for many years, starting with rotational grazing in the mid 70's and developing as Alan fine tuned the system into the more comprehensive holistic management as we see it today. I turned a badly neglected property into a top bushveld grazing ranch in two years of high density grazing.  Johann Zietsman has also done a large amount of research firstly with Alan then latterly on his own, with an emphasis on adapted genetics mainly inn the context of tropical and sub tropical climatic zones;
