Do you suppose he stayed in business after that??

Even though chicken sales compete against the beef business, I would sure have patronized this Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet had I been in the area. :)

I would think the last thing you would want to be as a businessman is openly political. It's one thing on here to voice our opinions but money has no political afiliation.
Really? I know lots of folks making money off of being political. Funny sign.

Dick Cheny and Halliburtons no bid contracts don't count. Why are you a registered Democrat when you hate everything they stand for?

A few years ago, a local rancher a little younger than me got on the outs with his dad. He kicked his dad off the ranch, and the old man was taken in by a preacher and given an old trailer house to live in for free. I tried to remain friends with both the son and his father. Feeling sorry for the lonely older man, I would stop and visit him once in a while. Peach Blossom and I loaded up a gentle horse for him and took the old man along on a trail ride one Sunday afternoon. The son got all ouchy about it. He proclaimed, "Anyone that is a friend of my dad is no longer a friend of mine."

He was telling me this in a local business establishment. He looked over at the business man, and said to him, "In your case, I don't blame you. Running a business, you have to be nice to everybody." I guess me being a "rancher" didn't qualify me as being a "businessman".

Back to the KFC owner. You never know, he might drum up more business by proclaiming his political views. It would just depend on the attitude of the clientele in the vicinity.

ABORTION! I'll always hate any party that has anything to do with it in their platform.
