There were a lot of offers made to debate issues in Political Bull yesterday - but I can't find where Oldtimer even showed his face in here.

But...I did see where he went on a long-winded, filibustering rant in Ranch Talk:

http://ranchers.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=372344#372344

Oldtimer (IF you read this  ) - too bad you didn't apply your aversion to the "Bull of the Month" type advertising to your Presidential choice. It's too bad you didn't study the pedigree a little bit closer before making your decision. You sure got suckered right on in to all of that hysteria over an extremist choice there. What happened to moderation?

Oh, wait - he was supposed to be a moderate, wasn't he? And now you refuse to admit the truth - the truth that we tried to tell you. All of that fancy advertising and chasing those big numbers in that "CHANGE" epd sure did make a fool out of you.

And if you want to talk about, "GREED over ETHICS," I can't think of a better place to start than with your "chosen champion" Obama. His "greed" has him digging deeper into the pockets of Americans than any President ever has. And funneling it straight to his #@*[email protected]* FATCAT banker and corporate buddies.

And his "ethics?" We can talk about those whenever you get ready.

What is really funny, or sad, whichever way you like it, is that OT went off on Northern Rancher for being a "Pimp" for the "Corporate" entity, GENEX, that OT says wants to perpetuate breeding defects in cattle..............

Well, what OT obviously doesn't know is that "Producers" themselves own and operate the "Crinet" network of subsidiaries that include GENEX.

He's a real gem that OT.  Kinda like a slug..............

I think it's in bad taste to do a thread against a poster. It reminds me of high school. I know many on here have strong opinions and differ in opinion.

Now back on track.

Obama wasn't the best choice but either was McCain. I strongly feel people had to choose who they felt was the lesser evil. I'm not sure at this point which was. We can all think we know what McCain would have done but until we have seen it nobody knows for sure.

The majority of the nation voted and Obama won. There is nothing we can do to change that. Now it is time to hope that he will lead this country out of the recession and not dive us farther into it or a full blown depression.

Get as many people as you can to demand a court to hear a case that questions his "Natural Born" status and eligibility!

Phone your Congressperson or Senators whenever there is an issue that needs to be squashed. Let them know you will not vote for them ever again, if they vote Yea.

You honestly think phoning your Congressperson or Senator is the answer?

Your point is well taken CattleArmy - and in almost all cases, I would agree with you. I had originally intended my post to be a reply to Oldtimer's political filibuster/rant in Ranch Talk.

But...since I didn't want to get in trouble for getting into politics in Ranch Talk (unlike Oldtimer), I thought it would be much more appropriate to bring it here, instead. Sorry you don't approve.

And one more thing I just remembered, CattleArmy....

While we're on the subject of how doing a thread against a poster reminds you of high school....

If you waited for CattleArmy's approval before you spoke, all you could talk about would be gay sex, and then you would have to all for it.

AW GEEEEZE - I didn't know you missed me so much... :p  Just sends my lttle heart aflutter..

Actually when I got back from fencing last night there was 40+ posts on PB- mostly the hypocrits- and today when I came in 20 more--some of which I glanced at briefly but after seeing they were the same old political bull of personal attacks and hate , decided its more enjoyable talking about real bulls and the issues that may have a major impact on the cattle world- so hit the mark all read button ...

But I didn't expect you would know much about the subject matter- and except for Northern Ranchers personal comments tying a group of ranchers and me personally to hookers- trying to turn it into a fight-- thought it was quite informational....

Its funny how this is one of the hottest topics on most the cattle sites- with many folks having different opinions-- offering differing ideas and possible solutions- but this is the only site where the first thing off it turns to personal attacks  :(

If you want your approval you have to beat people with the Bible while standing blindly thinking life is just full of roses and cattle.

Let's see. (I am standing here thinking.) Which would be most desirable, having the Bible, roses, and cattle on one hand; or gay sex on the other? Yup, I'd much rather have the Bible, roses, and cattle. :)

So...I guess this means you're just going to attempt to divert this time instead of hiding out like you've been doing? I notice that you still didn't want to tackle any of the issues we've been begging you libs to discuss in here.

I can remember when you've done almost that many posts (or more) in a day all by yourself - nothing but Bush-bashing. You seemed to have plenty of time then. But...now you're too busy?

What a coincidence. Your "chosen champion" is spending like a drunken sailor. He's creating the biggest government in history. He's responsible for the largest power grab by an administration that we've ever seen. All things that you ALWAYS had time to be critical of President Bush for doing. But what do you have to say about all of that now?

Now President Obama is making a fool out of you and treating the rest of the voters in this country like they're fools, too. And now you're too busy to discuss it. Imagine that.
