Went on a school tour to a ranch in E. Alberta, so here's some pics of the landscape and the cattle (purebred Angus herd)

Shunting them out...me and the folks I was touring with were going to pass through there, so our tour guide had to chase them out of that little enclosure to prevent a stampede and having fences torn out by panicking cows and calves

Yup,know the place well,my nephews{nieces hubby} land borders that,and maybe if I'm correct has part ownership of it,we're about 45 minutes from there

Did you meet Jack Welch? He's one of the managers of the day-to-day operations there. I play basketball with him. Great people.

Nope...the person leading the tour of the ranch was Barry Irving.

Thanks Soapweed. I enjoyed being in some different country for a change. :)

Now that looks like a great school trip...beats sitting in the classroom by far! You probably learned more that day than reading out of a book...great pictures.!
