I have a Huffman photo that was touched up in later years as a mass produced print. This was given to me as a gift recently. I have always loved the Huffman pictures. They were mostly taken around Miles City. I think this one was taken on the Powder River. Have any of you seen these, or possibly have one? The date says 1904 on the picture.

I have the old L.A. Huffman "colorized" print entitled "The first pull at the Latigo" hanging in my office at the house-- old broncbuster saddling a pony in an ash pole corral- and from the hump in his back that old pony is not appreciating that first pull......

This one also has the 1904 date.....

This was given to me many years ago by a friend who thought I looked just like the cowboy in the picture....

They have quite the Huffman museum in Miles City....

I've got it in two different books about LA Huffman. Great photo's, especially when you think about what he was using for a camera.

Buster McLaury or a name similar, I think OT. Maybe I have him confused with the guy who is still alive, though.

Some of those were in the Time/Life Cowboys series in the '70's.

The Buster McLaury I have met is alive and kicking. I attended one of his horse training schools a few years ago.

Yeah, I'm trying to remember who Huffman had those old pictures of.

Buster rings a bell, but can't remember his last name.

Anybody have "The Cowboys" in Time/Life?
