I just heard on the radio this morning that the Weather Boys say from the changing Pacific Ocean temps that they think we are heading into a La Nina weather pattern in the next couple months-- which historically is good for this part of the country with the Pacific northwest usually much wetter- which spills over and makes a wetter upper plains...Rainier summer ( but snowier winter)...
It also historically makes our upper plains cooler in the summer (colder in winter)...
But it also leads to a dryer hotter weather pattern in much of the south - and to a greater number of and more severe hurricanes for the Atlantic and Gulf.....
