Looks good NR. I like a bull that will get fat on hay. Should be able to use the semen I bought on him last year.Just got to keep a knife away from my cervix holding hand this year.lol.

I have thought about it. Using a page out of Murray's book maybe - AI our heifers to Lad and make them earn their commercial stripes before they're allowed to raise purebred bulls.

Here is what we bought the bull to produce-a god black baldie heifer calf born unnassisted out of an Angus heifer-too bad it's Tyler's not mine lol.

Hey Northern, what are his birth weight data, EPD's and actual and how accurate is he? I need some semen but I want to make sure I don't have any trouble, I know you understand.

My heifers are straight Angus so there won't be any "Continental Kick" like you sometimes hear about. Anyway let me know if you would.

His actual BW was 60 lbs-his BW EPD is -0.9 with a 37% accuracy. He's calved very well here I haven't seen a calf born yet out of heifers or cows. I don't think his calves will weigh 60 pounds by any means. I'm guessing 75-85 would catch the lions share of them. Most customers are telling me the calves are pretty small at birth but grow out well. We bred around 100 heifers to him last year-the guy who bought never phoned to complain so they must of calved well. I wouldn't have a problem reccommending him on Angus heifers for sure. Your Genex rep can get semen on him within a few days. They have him on an order only basis because he is exportable worldwide-so they don't want a bunch out in the field-it loses it's export status if it leaves the stud.
