I have learned about Doughmakers bakeware in the past few months.
Just wondered if any of you have it? It is really great for baking, best
I have ever used.

Nope, don't have anything like it, but where do you get it? I'd like to try it.

You can get it at kitchen stores, or online.
It has a crinkle feel and it bakes awesome and though it doesn't have
a no-stick finish, IT DOESN'T STICK.

I found some new on ebay.

Hey, I just took two fresh peach pies out of the oven.
Come on down!!

Boy it's tempting. :D :D
I checked the distance from Boot Hill in Deadwood to home with the GPS. It's 327 miles as the crow flys. The pies would be cool by the time i got there.

Never heard of Doughbaker and there is no store in our state but I'm due (overdue) for new cookie sheets. thanks for the idea FH. Baking is much more fun with the right equipment.

One of my favorite pieces is an electric French Press coffeepot which sits on a base that plugs in the wall. You flip a switch on the handle of the coffeepot itself and it heats up in a flash to boil. For those of us with pokey electric stoves this is an upgrade especially if you're cooking for only two. Besides making a good cup of coffee fast it works well to scald a few peaches for peach upside down cake or tomatoes to de-skin them without heating up a big pot and steaming up the kitchen, and I've also used it to blanch greenbeans. You aren't supposed to cook anything in it except coffee but it is really convenient for anythiing that won't stick to the bottom. I did try once cooking something thick and it burned to the bottom- not a good idea.

nr, don't get confused...it's Doughmaker...

I realize at our age anything is possible...

I want to tell you ladies how well this stuff cleans up too.
It's amazing...

They have a new cake pan with a lid, so
if you want a 9x13 cake pan, be sure to get the one with the lid.
I had never heard of this brand before until a friend told me about it.
She gets some every year when she goes back to Minnesota,
so I looked on the internet. The ones offered on ebay are new
and less expensive.

Thanks, I remembered the name just long enough to google it-
then pfffft! out of the brain

I wonder how ebay can do that- cut prices on new things over local stores.

Don't you think it is the stores on ebay that cut the price?
I guess it is just marketing, although I admit
I don't know enough about ebay...

I ordered a 12-muffin tin that I couldn't find at any of the stores.

I also couldn't find the muffiin tin at any of the
stores on the internet so I checked ebay and found new ones
for less than what I had found other places (even though they were
unavailable, the price was listed). I asked if they were new and they said YES, and that they were wrapped in plastic. So I ordered from them.

I do believe in supporting your local stores first. (except Wal-mart  )
