This guy has gotten to be one of my favorite modern day artists. He is a man we have gotten to know, and is a very interesting person. It turns out that his grandparents homesteaded fairly close to Jinglebob's area, and Larry gave me copies of some real neat early day photos. One is of his grandmother sitting horseback, and she looks like the real McCoy. The area they were in was about 25 miles or so south of Faith SD. We have had Larry do several works for us, including one simular to the one that has Ray Hunt featured in it. It has my dad highlighted the same way, with cattle stringing in the background while we were gathering for branding.

Anyway, he has a different style, but is real good. And it doesn't hurt anything that he is such a nice guy.

I forgot to add that if you have ever been in the Stockman's hotel and casino in Elko NV, then you have seen his work, as the whole insides are a mural that he painted for them. It is a sight to see.

Yeah, there are a lot of artists came from around here. Unfortunatley, many are "bad check" artists!

I really like Larry's art work. He is so good at depicting the small differences in "buckaroo's, cowboys, cowhands and cowpunchers". Thanks for posting the site. :)
