Nice pictures. It sure didn't take long to grind the 90 bales of hay. I really like the looks of your triple axle stock trailer, which would haul a nice big load of cattle.

Lookin' good Denny. What does it cost per bale to grind it?

The dog picture is priceless. These dogs think I'm going to do them bodily harm if I bring the camera out.

$440 an hour.Amount of bales ground vary by hay type but we run about 85 1100# bales in an hour we had some straw mixed in this time so he got a few more done.I blend a 1000#s of hay with 3500#s of silage two loads per day.

That's a nice bag on your 13-year old cow and a nice long
trailer. You do really professional work!

I like your dog. What kind is it? I hope it's not a border collie cuz
then I'll feel silly for even asking. :D

$11,000 a month leadtime right now. I have one 20' to build and another 30' for the guy who got the 28' today.

Mostley border collie.

The cow is a VikingGD60 Grandaughter I'd take a couple hundred just like her (Only Younger)

That first pic brought a tear to my eye.

Sadie was one of the best dogs we ever had before we had to put her down cuz of age-related declining health. That collie/heeler cross made her indefatigable.

She always came with the tennis ball in her mouth - you couldn't wear her out playing toss 'n' fetch. When I was working in the shop she would stand there beside my work station and throw the ball down, pick it up, throw the ball down, pick it up - repeat as necessary - until I would finally pick it up and throw it out the door or up onto the mezz. Then she was happy!

And back for more . . .

our local hay grinder gets $200/hr. if it is good going he can do about a bale a minute, our bales weigh approx. 1300lbs. your grinder is keepin a much faster pace.

There was just enough 'ear' on the dog that I wasn't sure it was full-blooded
border collie. 'Mostly' says it all.

Viking GDF60. You read my mind as I was wondering if that's what she was.
That picture is sure telling on why that bloodline is so sought-after for making
great cows. I'm just a big a fan of Viking GD60 as you are. Only you have
some an we don't. :p
