Thinks went real smooth until right at the very last....maybe half a bale left in windrows.....blew out a tire on the baler. So.....it now is limpin on one of my old Toyota tires, and Mr Lilly will finish up balin tomorrow after workin cows.

This is one of Lil Lilly's heifers she kept last year from her pen of 3.....

Nice heifer. The green sure looks pretty. The predominant color around here is brown, highlighted occasionally by white. Sorry about the baler tire.

I'm green with envy.Around here were about to turn white for the next 4 to 5 months.I would rather have snow and cold then your hot summer's though fat Norweigen's don't mix with Heat.

Your last cutting is better than our first (which is also our last)!!!

Well, not quite, but close.

On dry years, we've baled down to 800 lbs/acre. Not often, but we have done it.

That looks like Johnsongrass yall are rolling. You must have wormer weather than me. I have had several frost already. We did get a late cutting though. I think two weeks back. It was too short to roll but we made 250 squears on 7 acres. Not to good but still glad to get it.
