Wednesday Mr Lilly layed it down.
Even tho we had decently warm temps...it wasn't ready Friday.....or Saturday......so this afternoon we went out to see if it was dry enuff to bale.....and low n behold it was.
Gettin everthang hooked up.
The view inside our gate. Power company has been puttin in new poles and lines for the last 6 mo or so.....and they've been parkin all their equipment inside our gate in trade for 30 old power poles.
The first windrow of the season.
Lots of rye grass in there.
First bale.....we are usin a "new to us" baler. He had a lil bit of trouble gettin it to tie...but after he got it figured out...all went fairly smooth.
Bit dusty......could use some rain now (hint hint)
My rear view...
Always gotta be one that don't wanna cooperate......
After gittin it all dug out, then I had to re rake it into a baleable windrow LOL
Time to head in, got lots of daylight left...and things we wanna do at home.
And a few spring/early summer flowers for you folks that are still stuck in the snow.
And a woodpecker. He was makin racket here at the house when we pulled up.
