Lean Trimmings Still Come in US While No Exports to Japan

Here are the AMS numbers on cattle imports into the U.S.

It seems the U.S. is importing lean trimmings into the U.S. from Australia even as Australia is allowed to export meat to Japan and the U.S. is not.

Some results by the USDA and the trade negotiators. Sometimes it is results that count, as Agman said, and in that regard, the USDA and our trade negotiators are just plain old incompetent.
