Was readin your post about shoeing your own horses, been shoeing longer than I care to remember, but a few years back,I had a wild idea I could get me a kawasakai and get the horses a good home, been regretting than "fine" decision ever since, anyhow not only did I get rid of horses/saddles/tack,let all my shoeing tools walk off  probably would be cheaper to get someone to shoe horses now,but I have a knack for figgerin out the hard way to do stuff,on the other hand kinda nice to go shoppin for "tools" here's what Im using now, except I bought a stand for my anvil, gettin lazy in my old age...........shoed many horses off the tail gate of a pickup.....................good luck
