Which direction is this woman turning?

Do you think the woman is turning clockwise?

Or do you think the woman is turning counterclockwise?

If you first think the woman is turning clockwise, it means that you are right brain dominant.

If you first think the woman is turning counterclockwise, it means that you are left brain dominant.

So women usually see this woman turning clockwise, and men vice versa.

If you can change the direction at will, not randomly, you are genius.

But for most of people, the direction changes randomly.

Left Brain
Logical
Sequential
Rational
Analytical
Objective
Looks at parts

Right Brain
Random
Intuitive
Holistic
Synthesizing
Subjective
Looks at wholes

My result: I saw clockwise first, no surprise there.... I already knew I was right brain.

But I was able to change the direction, at will. It's really fun realizing how to make your brain do it

Yeah, I came back and immediately saw her going Counterclockwise.......Hmmm...I was working on reports and came back, so maybe I had switched sides of the brain?

I posted this on another forum of pretty bright people (appraisers) that I do admin stuff on. Most of them can make it switch at will. But I am thinking that being self employed has as much to do with it as does male and female. It seems to me that as self employed people we have to use both sides of the brain. We have to be visionary and out of the box thinkers all while keeping practical and methodical processes in mind.

Just a thought.

Now that was about the strangest thing I've run into today --

when I first looked she was turning counterclockwise...

then I started reading all the clockwise responses...went back and looked and she was still turning counterclockwise and I thought..what's wrong with you people? then I laughed at myself, and thought, what's wrong with me...I must need more coffee....

then I read the explanation...no surprise there. I've been accused many times of thinking like man --I think it's influence. Raised on a ranch full of men AND three brothers - no sisters, no females in my remote sheltered early life except my mother who was not my main influence in life. ANYWAY ..

the I read where I could CHANGE her direction..
went back and did --and did again...after a few tries could do it at will.

Now I'm headed to get more coffee...I feel better.

The image must not be working right, because I know i'm a genius, but she just keeps going counter-clockwise.

First look at the foot she is spinning on - the shadow of that foot indicates light behind dancer. If you accept light is behind dancer, then shadow of elevated foot appears when ele4vated foot is farthest away and shadow is off the page when elevated foot is closest. The only way to rectify the shadow is counter clockwise.

I am anything but genious, and extreme left brain (to a handicap), but I can easily change directions.
