Haymaker-- I heard parts of your area got over 5 inchs of needed rain?....

Yes the rain has been coming down pretty good around here, had some wheat that I thought was lost, but I was down there yesterday and it looks like it might make a stand after all,I think we have got about 5 inches here in the last few days, evry bit soaked in,not any run off been way to dry...............good luck

Good to hear you had some rain Haymaker. You must live in a sandy, loose soil country.

I was really admiring the house. If it is yours, would you care to tell us the age, and some of the history of it? It is really something.

Thank you for the compliment Tap,there really aint any history associated with the house,I built it about 12 years ago,its about 2200 sq ft,just big enough to be comfortable, had some mexicans dig the rock and cut it square, lots of lime stone around here, and lots of houses built out of it,like most areas you use what is readily availible.............good luck & stay warm

Good Lord! You call that snow?!? If you had twice as much as you do, it still wouldn't be anywhere's near what we've got! I am so sick of looking out my windows and seeing nothing but white! Spring can't come soon enough for me. :x

You and Elmo better get out there quick and get that Hillary Clinton snowman built before it's all gone.
Hovering just around freezing up here. A beaut of a chinook arch forming out towards the Front Range. A blue bonnet-blue sky this morning.
Life is good in Alberta.
Now if that hockey team of ours would only start winning again.

Don't mean to lasso your thread Haymaker but here's the Elmer Fudd hat Mrs. Greg is giving me the gears about. A litle retro but it stayed put and the Crowsnest Pass wind was blowing a ton that day.
By the way, you and Elmo better stay clear of the eves. Those icicles look mighty treacherous.
