Now that the Lame Duck session is drawing to a close, I would like to hear your opinions on how you think it went.
I'll start,
First I believe the Lame Duck should be illegal as a fair amount of those voting in the lame duck have already been told by the voters they were FIRED. Where else do you get to go back into the office and carry on like you still have the job after you have been fired by your bosses? ONLY IN THE US GOVERNMENT.
Second, It seems the Dems were not the only ones that didn't want to vote on some of these issues before the elections. For a party that washed the floor with their opponents in Nov. the Republicans caved on some of the issues WAY TO FAST.
Third The Republicans that take office in Jan better remember just what the voters said to them in Nov. The Republicans can't aford business as usual.
Fourth the Tea Partiers better start taking notice of every vote and those that vote for earmarks and big government spending should have their names added to a list to be challenged. I'm personally watching Scott Brown as he has made a few votes already I really didn't understand when it was the Tea Party voters that put him in a Historical Democrat seat.
