Liberal Elite can't stand Palin

It's so obvious: the liberal elites, you know, those who grew up either privileged or were 'deserving' of help to attend the 'right' schools and universities; travelled to other countries either to 'learn' or two 'help people'; perhaps accepted low salaried 'helping' jobs so they would later 'deserve' the high salary 'positions' sometimes in business but more often in service agencies or government service; help elect the 'right' people to office, or run for office themselves.....simply cannot believe that anyone who is a middle income, small college grad, wife and mother could possibly be qualified for national office, let alone second in line for the presidency!!!!

Apparently, they do not believe that an ordinary person can do extra-ordinary things when the need arises.

They seem unable to grasp that 'ordinary people' can have a large measure of common sense......or is it UNcommon sense?

Elitists attitude seems to be "God Forbid that 'ordinary people' achieve those carreer heights which are supposed to be reserved for we whose education and efforts prove we DESERVE IT!

Palin herself is worth something like $1.5M.....is that ordinary???? :???: :???: :???: :???:

It's probably not ordinary to the McCains, considering Cindy's millions and it's not ordinary to me. I don't believe I know anyone with a net worth of $1million+.

The career politicians are out of touch with main-stream America.
They just 'don't get it'. That's why Sarah Palin is so refreshing.
Plus her whole family own businesses of some kind and she 'gets it'.
Maybe that's why she's worth 1.5 million. She and Todd took risks
and it paid off for them. Of course, they took the chance to fail, also.
What Obama/Biden have in store is SOCIALISM.

And Sarah took on Joe Biden like a tiger.

Did you know that Joe Biden told 14 LIES during that debate?

They had the sound bytes on Talk Radio this morning.

What a woman! GO SARAH!!!!!!!!

BTW, what do you ladies think of Joe Bidens idea of giving $500
Baby bonus to every baby born in this country? They do that in
Canada, and they not only have encouraged babies to have babies,
those kids/women/mothers usually stay 'on the system' for years--
maybe all their life.

Think of how much that is going to cost the AMERICAN TAXPAYER.

So what do you call that, ladies?

(sorry, I won't be back to this computer til Sunday. I"m out in the
boonies, ya know. No cell service, no internet, no tv, and my XM
radio won't work unless I set it outside by an open window.)

Cindy Mcain is NOT an elitist! Her wealth was EARNED in a family owned business. I don't know what schools she attended, but would be surprised if they were Ivy League. She works dilligently to share HER OWN wealth with those less fortunate than she has been. She does not have a holier than thou attitude toward those who don't speak as well as she or don't have as important a job/business as she has. And her husband doesn't use or promote class envy to gain votes for himself!!!!

It doesn't take a huge business to be worth a million and more. 'Experts' say it requires 300 cows for a family to make a living for themselves and those cows. Conservatively, it would take at least 20 acres per cow per year. That would be 6000 acres. I doubt one could buy that amount of land for less than $300.00 per acre, even in low price SD. That amounts to $1,800.000.00 for land only. What are cows worth today? I haven't checked in a while. Add in the equipment required to care for those cows, and you have what some consider a 'gravy train' net worth.........and a life of very hard work for very long hours to make a very modest living for a family. Many businesses would require similar investment.

Or having so many houses you can't remember them.

It is an attitude. And here's Cindy McCain's. I won't quote because I don't remember the exact words, but when she thought about buying a condo on the beach, John told her that no one would use it. Now, she said, every time she wanted to use the condo, it was full of her kids and their friends. So she just bought another one for her to use. I don't remember what a condo costs, but it was big bucks....to most of us. Then there's the airplane. Poor John was having such a problem getting around Arizona when he was first running for election that she rented him a plane. And that worked out so well, she just bought a jet to fly around on. Both those stories are documented and on the web. Cindy McCain doesn't have a clue how the rest of us live and she doesn't care. She's got hers. She didn't earn it; her daddy did, though she has stayed involved in the business. When he died, he left everthing to her and she didn't see fit to share his wealth with his kids from his first marriage. And she's a liar. She never met Mother Theresa, yet they used the story of adopting the child as a political point when he ran for re-election, just like they used the pregnancy of Palin's daughter to attack Democrats. And they'll use the daughter's wedding, too.

It's disgustingly obvious that the liberal mantra of 'class' and wealth envy has succeeded very well with fff and kolanuraven!

Cindy McCain has CLASS in the best sense of the word. Dressing in ones best shows respect for the event attended. That is classy, NOT elitist! She is truly a fine woman.

Isn't wine sometimes used an an investment??? Do you two know the McCains well enough to KNOW the facts of their lives? To KNOW that kids from Cindy's fathers' first marriage did not inherit? There could be many reasons if that is true. Did the man leave a will? Was it his second wife who helped him build the wealth? Who knows? Whose business is it, in any case?

The lady you love to hate does a fantastic amount of good works for people who need help. She uses a lot of her money to make life better for others. Maybe you should try that sometime. It might make you less bitchy!

What a stretch to claim the pregnancy of Palins' daughter was used by the Republicans for political gain! FACT: it was Democrats who used it to attack Palin and try to bump her from the Republican ticket!

Yes they have done quite well under this administration. What were those stats, something like ceo pay had increased 400% while the working class had increased 4%. Something close to this I think I read.
