The IC is headed by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), whose statutory leadership is exercised through the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). The 16 members of the IC are:[8]

Hmmm,.. is the 17th so secret they don't even know who it is?

Here are the 17 offices:
1. Office of the Director of National Intelligence
7. Department of Homeland Security – Office of Intelligence and Analysis
17. Coast Guard Intelligence
3. National Security Agency

2.Central Intelligence Agency
5. Federal Bureau of Investigation

4. Defense Intelligence Agency
12. National Reconnaissance Office
11. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
13. Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance
14. Army Military Intelligence
15. Office of Naval Intelligence
16. Marine Corps Intelligence

6. Department of State – Bureau of Intelligence and Research

8. Drug Enforcement Administration – Office of National Security Intelligence

9. Department of the Treasury – Office of Intelligence and Analysis

10. Department of Energy – Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence

Calling them 17 is a huge stretch considering 7 report to and support the Department of Defense.

oops forgot to mention,.. Office of the director of National Intelligence is not "an agency", but instead who the agencies are supposed to report to if my research is correct.. so I guess it was either make up something or tell the reporter about the "other, No Such Agency Exists"...
