I DO NOT know how you guys handle the heat :!: We're at 90 degrees and 58 humidity....I'm seriously dieing here, walking around with a spray bottle with ice cold water in it. Greg went to Rodeo in Pure Country's town and I told him no way no how am I going to be a sitting duck for the sun and heat in those uncovered bleachers.....YECK,I guess we're even, you couldn't handle our cold I couldn't handle your heat.

You and me both Mrs. Greg--I went up this morning and checked on a cow on the highway near one of my pastures -- was neighbors cow (and she'd already jumped in my pasture- so I let them know where she was and that she was hunting a missing calf :???: )...Since I was there I checked on cows/bulls/waterholes and headed back.....Stopped at the waterhole for about an hour- walked out about 2PM and thought I was going to die before I could get the air going...Temp on the truck said 107....

But we're getting really dry- grass, wheat, hay is suffering......

Could go to the Wolf Point Stampede tonite-- but even the Grandkids said they'd rather stay home

I hear ya, Mrs. Greg. I'm just about a limp rag with all this heat. Last night, I plugged the haybine big time, and by the time me and the best friend got it unplugged, we were soaked through with sweat. (Yes, we women do sweat! :) ) I'm sitting here with a cold bottle of water and a very wet facecloth, trying to keep somewhat cool. Not succeeding very well, though.

I COULD NOT handle the 74 humidity...ohhhh for -40 weather again   at least one could put clothes on,nobody wants to see me take anymore clothes off

It was a bit toasty here today too, with the thermometer registering 36 degrees (97 F) this afternoon. That is just about unheard of in this area, and way too warm for me!

!! Wussie!!!!

About 92 here today and the humidity was somewhere around the 70% range...quiet comfortable to be honest.

We all have AC now...but growin' up NO ONE, except the rich kids in town ,had AC and we all survived!!!!

I LOVE IT!!!!!!

You'd been cooler sitting out in the open @ the rodeo than under a shed. Since heat rises....a top will just trap the heat on top of you.

The trick is to be able to tolerate fairly hot temperatures (about 85 F) and also to be able to tolerate -30's temperatures. I'm not designed for extreme hot or extreme cold. Thank God we don't have the excess humidity to go with!

Ok...to me definition of cold is when it gets below 60F!!!!

When @ the ranch in NE in Jan/Feb....I was in pure misery. I couldnot put on enough clothes and they all laffed at me cause I was so bound up in coveralls I could hardly walk.

SCREW THAT...I just stayed in the big house and watched Hwy 26 and the Dinklage activity on days like that!!!

Heat gave us a thunder storm-- just lightning and thunder mostly (not as bad as some tho)-- little wind- and 10 drops of rain (Radar shows it should be raining good-- but its evaporating before it hits the ground)...

Did drop the temp pretty fast from 95 down to a lovely 70 now.... :)

Lil, you're a tough one then. Here. it's bikini bush-hoggin' when it's that hot!!! Yeah, you get some odd tan lines....but I'm not wearing jeans again till it frosts sometime in late Oct or early Nov.

It's shorts from March till Nov around here!
