Lois Lerner Wants "Immunity"

Embattled IRS official Lois Lerner will not testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee unless she’s given immunity from prosecution, her lawyer told POLITICO Tuesday.
“They can obtain her testimony tomorrow by doing it the easy way … immunity,” William W. Taylor III said in a phone interview. “That’s the way to resolve all of this.”

Why would she need immunity? Didn't she already tell Congress she did no wrong, broke no laws, etc.

I'm confused.

A normal/reasonable person would be confused at almost every level of the Buckwheat administration.

Even those of us who run away to communist countries and then have the balls to speak negatively of true government leadership?

Especially those. It's the "rural" ones who have no concept of the outside world that may believe everything that comes from a media darling's mouth that have no clue...........

If she is asking for immunity from Prosecution then it has to be taken she knows she is guilty of something but yet she testified to being TOTALLY INNOCENT. :?

She should be charged with Contempt of Congress and tossed in jail until she speaks and if she lied about being innocence then she should be charged with perjury and tossed back in jail for being involved and LYING ABOUT IT. Obama likes to have "teachable moments" well make a teachable moment out of his IRS henchmen that are protecting his White House and Campaign Team from taking responsibility for the IRS targeting of Conservatives

here is my take on it.... she knows she isn't innocent.. her history shows she can be vindictive..

and facts show she lied to congress..
http://www.nationalreview.com/article/348428/nine-lies-lois-lerner-kevin-williamson

so her taking the 5th.. was practical for her... but if she gets immunity.. I believe she will correct some of the "mistakes" and take the fall for the whole program...

later she will have a promising career in some liberals corporation..

so if I was congress I would give her conditional immunity only in relation to her past "mistakes" in her testimony to congress and if she gives up someone higher then she is..

otherwise expect it to end with her one way or the other.....
