Lone Survivor Movie

If you haven't been to see it, I highly recommend it, and be ready to be choked up.
I heard on the radio that in the (formerly) small town of Conroe, not far from Marcus Luttrell's hometown of Huntsville, the multi-cinema showed Lone Survivor on every screen to the exclusion of all other current movies and every seat sold out.

Oo-rah !

Very true. I met Marcus Luttrell and heard him speak last summer. Saw the movie last Sunday night. Thank God we have people like him on our side. Hats off to the Texas Frog!

Let me put it into perspective another way, FH.

LS , with the exception of two kiddie movies throughout the years, is the first movie I have went to a theatre to watch since DANCES WITH WOLVES.
Do the math.

There are a few good movies. Darn few. Second Hand Lions always comes to mind as a classic. I guess I can't remember the last movie we went to the theatre to see. For one thing, in Montana, it's 80 miles one way. I remember we drove in to see "All the Pretty Horses". I didn't even like that movie and knowing what I know now about Matt Damon, I like it even less. :?

Lone Survivor is showing in Miles City right now, twice nightly plus 2 Sunday afternoon matinee's. I like the Sunday afternoon showings better, they are a little cheaper and I'm not driving home as late at night.

just got home from watching this movie....WOW... it is the only time I know of, that at the end of a movie the entire theater applauded....

what a movie, really makes a man feel little when he complains about the things we go through in a day.... God Bless the men and women in uniform.
