The last time something like that happened (not associated with ranchers tho) a pop up said my computer had been infected and to click here...I did and I really got a virus out of that!!! Had to take my computer in and
have it worked on. So this time, I didn't click on anything...and I copied and pasted the message and sent it to Macon in a PM. Wonder where
it directs you when it says, "go to my home page instead"????
Anyhow, it kind of scared me...

and then I thought "It's the government's way of shutting down
Political Bull..."  :? :p

The latest thing is for the scammer to post with a link to his malware site. I deleted one yesterday that was an elaborate set of instructions including images to get a movie on your iPhone.

Please report any posts with a suspicious message with a link not related to cattle by a poster with only one or two posts.

You can't get a virus from this site since we don't allow uploading files. But if you follow a link to another site, be careful.

Hey, Haymaker, I did you one better. I PAID for Norton Anti-virus
2010 when I had my computer cleaned up. The guy who built the
computer says that the 'free' ones just don't do a good enough job.

I do accept apologies from cowboys from Texas. :p

I got the same thing a month or so back, telling me the same thing about some of my favorites, like Gunblast.com, and a couple of others. I had to get a new hard drive put in the 'puter,( it was slowing way down, etc. and the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH came up...) it had problems and now everything is fine as far as I can tell.
