With the cold weather and the neighbors gatherin', we went for a ride looking for a couple wandering bulls. They like to drift into pockets and draws and hide out. So my Dad & I took a loop up some canyons doing a little looking. Our cattle summer on the south and west slopes above our ranch but now and then wander over to the northeast slopes. We were out 4 bulls. So these picts aren't nearly as impressive as Jassy's big bunch but i took the camera anyway. Here is Dad on "Mischief" his paint mare. She can out walk anything in this area. And dad likes to keep his boots out'a the brush so she fits the bill. I tease him that she looks and acts like a cow moose with a bad paint job! :D He just grins and mentions something about a will and how i am not in it!

We rode up Bennion canyon and then split up checking the draws and ridges. Here's the creek and some naked cottonwoods. They have about shucked their fall colors and snuggled in for winter.

After a couple hours the calvary showed up! :D Mom and my wife and kids brought the 4 wheelers up to see the sights and check out the low country.

"Dally" brought the bino's for finding bulls! Cept he kept spotting bucks and got sidetracked!

Look what we found! He was standing right in the creek with his tail over his mouth so as not to give away his position! Kicked his but north about 8 miles to some corrals. He was bull-headed but we didnt put up with his B.S. and bullyed him til he decided his bull-only better be good!

Here comes the guy a "moose-back"!

Looking back to the south-east at the "red-skin ridges". It's one spot around here i have no idea how it got it's name? :???:

Looking due east at Mount Timpanogus. It is 75 or 80 miles away and named for a sleeping indian princess, or so the story goes. So i know about a mountain way over there and don't know squat about the back yard?

We finally made the corral with our ground beef. Stuck him in and ran the ponies home and then went back for him. My cousin will be up to get him and 2 others to haul home tomorrow.

Wearin' dad's hat while going home! Just so ya'll know, she has dad wrapped right around her little finger! :D :D :D As i type this i am listening to "It won't be like this for long" by Darius Rucker on the radio. Pardon the tears! :D She's my girl!

Had to give her a ride on "ranch". Grandpa got in the picture too. He is wrapped tighter than dad, if that is possible. So here were the pictures of a 1 bull drive! It was a great day! :D
