Couple of tips if you use the golf course bring extra orange golf balls they are easier to see in the snow and when they blow off to the next hole. Antelope are less likely to eat orange golf balls.
Hells Half Acre is not the best place o have a wedding reception just does not look good in the photo album. Getting married at Hells Half Acre is not a good sign for the future. Actually Talbetts sp is a good place for gifts. Powder River has been used for wedding receptions but usually sheep herders crash the party. Kinda tacky but some go to Ghost Town.
Ask her to try Douglas at least they there is a old hotel that is historic there
Bonita? sp. and actually a river. If the groom gets cold feet they usually try hiding out at Bill Wyoming. They usually run out of gas at Bill and not sure if the chamber of commerce takes travelers checks.
What is really cool in Casper people will drive 130 miles to go to Wal-Mart to visit their neighbor. Serious note go the Casper College Ag Building and look at all the National Livestock Judging team awards. That is the Burch family life time achievement award ( sure Kelly and Gina will get a kick out of that)

My son and his new wife just got married there a month ago. He's been living there for about 2 years and I really like Casper. You have the mountains and a ski hill just to the south of you. A great boating lake is half an hour to the west. Then there is a hot spring (Thermopolis) less than an hour to the nothwest. The city has most of the major shopping stores, from Wallmart to Murdochs to JC Penny to the Dollar store. There are a lot of really good restaurants to choose from. Housing costs are half of what they are in Alberta but I would't guess at how they rank for other U.S cities. Uhhh... you can get from one side of the city to the other in less than 10 minutes using the freeway. Uhhh... anything in particular you were interested in knowing?
