Good for you Haymaker--It looks like the system that moved thru us is already in Minnesota...We ended up with close to 5 inches of snow...

We are leavin out here in a lil while headin to the Rose Palace Arena there just outside of Boerne. Gonna be there all weekend, barrel racin. If ya git a chance drop by and see if you can find us. Lil Lilly is runnin Saturday and Sunday there. I have no idea what time she's runnin, they are lookin at somewhere close to 700 runners each day.

I'm a hoping you all get wet down there too--Love seeing all the dry country get rain/snow... Hoping the whole country comes up green...I have a few old cows that I was just going to cull because they're getting age on them- and I have young ones coming up-- so I decided since I have the hay this year I'll feed them for the winter and calve them out and sell as pairs in the spring-- so I hope that whole country is green and crying for cows

I'm not much of a New Years celebrator-- Amateur night- probably spend it at home...I have to go to a going away party for a neighbor (another farmer/rancher giving it up ) -- so might not even feel like looking at whiskey the next day....
