Lost Three Heros today!

Local life flight crew was lost in a wreck north of Reno Nv. I went to highschool with two of them. All three left small children behind. As rural people we depend on the men and women, who work for these companies that take us to the urban hospitals for life saving care. My prayers are with the families of these 3 men. My solace is that they were called to the big BBQ above doing something they loved. May we all be blessed in that way.

My condolences jeff-- but after spending years of the same type service to the public- I know they knew what they were getting into- and never thought twice if their public service wasn't worth the dangers they took....

Only a few will ever know what that calling is......

Jeff---prayers to you and to the families left behind.....we, too, lost a lifeflight crew about years back....all aboard died and left families!! Such a tragic loss. you are sooooo right.....rural america really does depend on these brave men and women and they risk soooo much to be there for us!! As a nurse, I know many who risk it all to climb in the chopper or fixed wing and head out to places that 4wheel drive won't touch in weather that no human should travel in!!
