On The Radio: Friday
We’ve witnessed our share of painful press conferences, but the one given Thursday by the Speaker of the House just might take the cake. When it comes to her account of when she was actually informed of the harsh interrogation tactics used by the Bush administration, Nancy Pelosi has more stories than a public library. In the latest chapter of this wildly confusing tale, Pelosi now asserts that she was misled by the Bush administration and the Central Intelligence Agency about the treatment of suspected terrorists.

Stay tuned for the next narrative, which in all likelihood should arrive before the weekend kicks off. And stay tuned to “The Lou Dobbs Show”—where Mr. Independent promises to do his part to help the Speaker regain her memory!

It’s “Let It Fly Friday” in the Independent Nation! Lou will have the phone lines open all day long to get your take on what’s happening in America. Call him toll-free on the Independent Hotline at 877-55 DOBBS. (It’s the best bargain in broadcasting.)

Not only was she showing character by lying, she was showing by joining in the mob that was going after the people who were doing what she knew they were doing!

Panetta to Pelosi: We Don't Lie to Congress

Friday, May 15, 2009 4:10 PM

WASHINGTON – The head of the CIA defended the agency Friday against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's charge that she was misled in 2002 about the use of waterboarding, but he said it ultimately is up to Congress to decide where the truth lies.

"Let me be clear. It is not our policy or practice to mislead Congress," CIA Director Leon Panetta wrote in a message to agency employees that was released to the public. "That is against our laws and our values."

Panetta:
"our contemporaneous records from September 2002 indicate that CIA officers briefed truthfully on the interrogation of Abu Zubaydah, describing 'the enhanced techniques that had been employed.'

See the CIA documents that show that Pelosis was briefed on 09/04/02.
