Remember this WHEN YOU DO YOUR TAXES IN APRIL ) ! ! ! ! ! !

In case you didn't notice.
Here is what happened on January 1, 2014 :

Top Medicare tax went from 1.45% to 2.35% , an increase of 62%

Top Income tax bracket went from 35% to 39.6% , an increase of 13%

Top Income payroll tax went from 37.4% to 52.2% , an increase of 52 %

Capital Gains tax went from 15% to 28% an increase of 87 %

Dividends tax went from 15% to 39.6% , an increase of 164 %

Estate tax went from 0% to 55% , an increase of infinity . . .

Remember this fact : These taxes were all passed with only democrat votes
No republicans voted for these taxes.

These taxes were all passed under the Affordable Care Act, aka OBAMACARE.
If you think it is important that everyone in the U. S. should know this, pass it on. If not, then delete it.

My advice to anyone reading this post is to stay away from "Barrington Investment Advisors."

The whole post is BS.

the rebuttal isn't exactly correct either...

from the factcheck sight
Some of these figures aren’t accurate, and none of these increases took effect on Jan. 1, 2014, or had anything to do with the Affordable Care Act.

Should your modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) exceed $250,000 (for married filing jointly) or $200,000 (for single filing), you owe an additional 3.8% beyond the tax rate of 15% thanks to the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This created the new rate of 18.8%.

there are more mistakes in the fact check article.. because fact check themselves ignore all the tax implications and cherry picked their info as well..

http://www.forbes.com/sites/davidmarotta/2014/05/25/capital-gains-tax-gets-more-complicated/

the reality is a tax is a tax and it doesn't matter how they stack up as we can not pick and chose the ones we want to pay like factcheck did..

I would take Forbes word over factcheck any day..
