Well the headline says that they won it and I'm not even gonna bother reading the story. Cuz I just hate the Yankees.
To me, they represent everything that rich oppression means. So I just hate them and always will.
And Jeter might be a good ball player but he is an arrogant jerk. A couple of years ago, the Jays opened the season at home against the Yanks. Jeter was coming into third and the Jays catcher had come down to third to take the force-out throw. He blocked the bag had Jeter out but Jeter slid into the catcher's shin and separated his shoulder, missing a good chunk of the season.
Later when the Jays catcher met Jeter and offered his condolences on the injury, Jeter just walked right past him and blew him off. What kind of jerk is that? It's not like the catcher was out to hurt him!!
In fact, it seems that most of the Yankees are arrogant jerks, starting with A-roid. They get those pinstripes on and think they are the king and everybody else is beneath them.
How many pennants and rings would they have if they weren't roiders? I mean, Andy Pettite admitted it, (although Pettite does have a lot of ability), A-roid, etc.
And A.J. Burnett - he's a head case and I loved seeing him get his **** handed to him time after time . . .

Man when he came back to Toronto this summer in stripes for his first game after opting out of his TO. contract and faced off against Halladay, that was one of the best games ever!!! The place was almost packed and the fans were there for one reason - to HATE on A.J. Burnett. And hate on him we did.
I was there. The fans got on him as soon as he came onto the field and didn't let off until we booed him off the field down by a bunch of runs. Every time he came to the set position, 38,000 fans were screaming "A.J.SUCKS! A.J.SUCKS . . . " and wouldn't stop until he had thrown the ball. Or we would just chant "AAAAAAAAAA JJJJJJJJJAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY" over and over!! I like to think that we kinda got into his head a bit!!!!
38,000 fans screaming at A.J. Grown men and women hollering at the top of their lungs. We taught a lot of little children how to properly hate the Yankees that night.
Man it was electric and even the announcers said that it was the loudest, baddest atmosphere that the Rogers Center had seen and heard since 1993, the last W.S. for the Jays. The Jays won that game in more ways than one.
But next year is another season and some things will change. However, one thing that won't change is that I will still hate the Yankees.
Maybe more than ever . . .
Oh and did I mention that I just hate the Yankees?
