I like how this lady thinks!
-----------------------------------

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) on Wednesday said Chief Justice John Roberts Jr. should be forced to purchase health insurance through ObamaCare exchanges because he wrote the opinion upholding the law that she described as “a complete and utter disaster.”

Bachmann made the comments after a closed-door briefing from federal Health Department officials over the Obama administration’s response to initial problems with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

The briefing from Mike Hash, director of the Office of Health Reform, was scheduled last week following demands from the House Republican leadership, but only about 20 out of more than 200 members attended.

“What we learned in there is that their answer is, ‘We don’t know,’ ” Bachmann said. “They don’t have an answer for anything.”

IMO, Roberts gave the American citizens an out, on obamacare.

what his opinion states is that the penalty is most likely a tax. And don't all taxes need to be initiated by the house? SCOTUS ruled unconstitutional on 2 other points.

So, what needs to happen is that someone has to take the case to SCOTUS arguing that it is not a Constitutional law, due to it being initiated in the Senate.

There are a couple of cases at present, working their way through the system, stating exactly that.

That's good to know. So what can we, as citizens do to see that the House
doesn't just "make theatrics" and do nothing? I'm tired of theatrics, I want
something done.

On Fox News tonight O'Reilly said "the Republicans have no leader."

Then he showed possible leaders, and besides Christie (us wise ones know
he won't cut it) they were pretty much Tea Party nominees. If the GOP
didn't eat their own, we'd have a leader; and that leader would get lots
of support. But not from the 'old dogs'. The old dogs are killing
the party. So far, it seems they have the power. Yet they do nothing with it,]
or to rephrase it, they don't get much done. Everyone is worried about getting
re-elected, not doing what is best for the country.

BTW, does Canada have all these surveillance problems that we are having?
I mean, are they spying on leaders of other countries, etc? That came up in a
conversation today, and I didn't have an answer. If Canada does have this
problem, we sure don't hear about it. When Obama gets done, we won't have
an allie left.

there is one who is taking on the fight but not exposing himself to the damage that some of the others such as Cruz and Rubio have .. a person who is working behind the scenes to consolidate a power broker position that will give him the backing to launch an election campaign. ,.. and that is Rand Paul...

he has made some mistakes but it is clear he learns quickly and the mistakes are not ones that will damage him in an election..

I think if anyone can take Hilliary it would be Paul..
