being from canada i shouldn't use mad and cow in the same sentence but
this cow is p***ing me off. she is my milk cow jersey brown swiss crossed with long horn. she keeps finding ways to get out and insto my garden yesterday while i was at work and the family was visiting my parents the old girl just up and decided she was going to go through the barn to get out but the barn door was closed. determined cow+barn door= ruined door and corn in garden. . but the door needed to be repaired so i guess i take this as a hint that the cow wants a new door instead of just fixing the old one up.

Jersey + Longhorn = Fence Crawler. I've never seen anything that can crawl fences like them. On the other hand, there ain't much tougher than a longhorn either. They all have their pros and cons.

I don't know much about long horns, but I sure know about jerseys and they are sure stubborn and determined!!!!!!!!! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!! I feel for ya! My mom was showing a jersey once and during the show the old girl laid down, rolled on her back with her legs in the air and refused to get back up! They can either be the most gentle and kind cows, or a real stubborn nightmare!

Yep!! She laughs about it now, but I believe she was a kid when that happened and I'm pretty sure there were tears in the show ring! You know how well an upset handler and an animal do in a show!!!!

But, yes.... hilarious!! :)
